If u had asked me who I was most afraid to lose I would most likely have said Buster. That’s mostly because I was so acutely aware that his time with me was limited. I would even make dark jokes about when he passes and it was clearly an attempt to prepare and cushion the intense feelings I knew I would have. He felt like such a gift to me. A gift from God. A gift from Michelle. A gift from the universe. Every morning I woke up I was grateful that I got to have another day with him. That is, until I didn’t. My heart is shattered into a million pieces and I’m honestly just trying to figure out how I’m going to cope without my best friend. There are only two people in this world who shared their life with Buster like I did and while I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone, I can’t lie and say I’m not grateful that I’m not alone in this. There are many of you that held a special place for Buster in your heart and I knew he loved that and so do I. The price for intense love will sometimes be intense pain but I would do it again in a heartbeat if I could just have a little more time. #thankyoumoreplease

Nothing before it’s time! A couple years back I planned a quick stop on a trip to go to Singapore. We were spending one day at Marina Bay Sands (it’s quite pricey) and what I really wanted was to go check out their pool if I’m being honest. Right before our plane took off from Thailand I started feeling really nauseous which turned out to be some kind of food poisoning. I spent the entire day and night in the hotel room (read: bathroom) and didn’t see one ounce of Singapore. Right before check out I gathered enough strength just to go LOOK at the pool and I was turned back because they were having a private function up there WTF. Then the trip to China this year just kinda came out of nowhere and we decided we would stop in Singapore at the very end. The idea of going back to MBS came up and I hesitated cause it was even more expensive and frankly most likely not worth the price tag. I was wondering if I would have the same luck again but this experience was the complete opposite. They allowed us to check in early, gave us an upgrade and the check in lady couldn’t have been sweeter. You know as soon as we dropped the bags I ran up to the pool 😂… and just to try and get some moneys worth we went again in the night. Woulda gone a third time the next morning but alas lightning was striking. It was an amazing experience but a little too crowded for my taste. But now it’s one more check on my life bucket list! #nothingbeforeitstime

Picture a scenario where everyday that you wake up

Picture a scenario where everyday that you wake up you get two choices. You could have an amazing productive day or you could have a shitty unproductive and slouchy day. Wouldn’t we all choose the best day? Except in reality we don’t always. Sometimes there are factors beyond our control setting up the course of our day. But what about the days when the factor is you; when you’re the one ultimately in control and in spite of life’s challenges you insist that today is gonna be your day. I’ve been trying to tip that scale recently, trying to make every day a good day in spite of what that day may hold, in spite of how much challenges I face, in spite of whatever lies I tell myself. Some days I may crumble but most days I hope to rise. So imagine everyday that you wake up that you’re in control and the choices are yours to make, are you gonna have a good day or a bad day?

If you asked me what my biggest fear was I’d pro

If you asked me what my biggest fear was I’d prolly tell you loneliness. I don’t have the social capacity of many others around me so it’s easy to feel left out or like you’re not fitting in like how you’re suppose to. It’s not something people to do to me more than it is something I do to myself. It’s been a running joke for years amongst my friends as to how dry, cold and unapproachable I seem to others who don’t know me. The irony being that on the inside my intentions are very warm and friendly. I just have trouble expressing it. Cause of everything I’ve shared it would feel at times like it would be harder to make friends. And yet God has blessed me with so many beautiful and wonderful friendship’s and so many people who have my back that I couldn’t begin to list em all. That’s the real reason for the season. Don’t miss an opportunity to tell those around you how much you love em, we all love to be loved. #gratitudeisalwaysamust
